As a native New Yorker, Dr. Teitelbaum grew up in Brooklyn, attended local yeshivos, and graduated Brooklyn College with Honors and a Bachelors in Biology.
Dr. Teitelbaum received his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, and completed a combined residency in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine at Staten Island University and Kings County Medical Center. He is dually Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. He is an Associate Clinical Instructor at New York University School of Medicine and is affiliated with NYU Langone Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center.
Dr. Teitelbaum and his family reside in Brooklyn where he has had the privilege of serving the local communities. His special medical interests include preventive, community, and family medicine.
As a native New Yorker, Shira Kaplovitz (maiden name Selevan), RN, CPNP grew up in Brooklyn, attended local schools, and graduated from Columbia University School of Nursing with both a BS in nursing and an MS in pediatrics. She is certified both as a registered nurse and a pediatric nurse practitioner. Her advanced certification is given by the PNCB, pediatric nursing certification board.
Shira Kaplovitz, RN, CPNP, and her family reside in Brooklyn where she has the privilege of serving the local communities. Her interests are pediatric and adolescent medicine with a focus on pediatric primary care.
Leah Reisman grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She received a Bachelors in Psychology from Touro College as well as a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University. Leah worked in Maimonides Medical Center as a nurse in an acute care setting for over six years. She then pursued a Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Long Island University. She obtained certification as a nurse practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is primarily interested in preventative medicine in the family care setting.
Chana Vaiselberg, RN, FNP-BC grew up in Brooklyn NY, attended BY of 18th Avenue and BYA HS, and graduated Brooklyn College with a Bachelors in Psychology. She attended State University of New York Downstate Medical Center where she received her BS degree in nursing and MS degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is certified as a registered nurse and as a family nurse practitioner. Her advanced certification is given by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Chana and her family reside in Brooklyn, where she has the privilege of serving the local communities. Her primary interests are family medicine with a focus on preventative medicine.
